There are many areas in which we can offer assistance, from arranging for the Toastmaster and photographer, flowers and napkins to compliment your own colour scheme, and favours for guest place settings. We can advise on evening entertainment, discuss menus and drinks and provide information on services available locally.
Confused by etiquette? Who’s mother sits next to whose father? What order should the toasts be given in? When do we cut the cake? Don’t be – your wedding planner will be there every step of the way to guide you, from the original booking to the first dance at your reception.
The hotel, which was built in 1540, combines the character of a period building with elegant décor, making it an excellent choice for both traditional and more modern ceremonies. Stunning views of the surrounding countryside make an ideal backdrop for your photographs.
The Waveney House Hotel is licensed for civil weddings, so you can choose to have both the ceremony and wedding breakfast at the hotel, or just the reception. Either way we promise a truly memorable occasion for you, your family and friends.
The Waveney House Hotel offers a ‘picture postcard’ riverside location, which make this historic hotel an ideal and unique setting for your special wedding day.
The hotel boasts a private function suite with its own private bar. The Waveney Suite can cater up to 120 for formal dining, or up to 200 informal. For more intimate occasions of up to 50, our river facing Staithe Suite is ideal. Hotel accommodation compromises of twelve charming en-suite bedrooms, including two very special Honeymoon Suites with prime views over the river Waveney.
